VOLVO V70 R - 2003
Counting 3 generations from 1996 to 2016, the V70 is an executive car manufactured and sold by Volvo. Why V70? V for "Versatility" and the number 70 is related to the platform size.
The second generation of the Volvo V70 started from spring 2000 to 2007, and now let's focus on the V70 R which was based on PCC2 concept car shown to the public in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. Finally marketed in 2003, the V70 R concentrate a lot of interesting new features:
* Haldex based all-wheel drive
* 2.5L turbocharged five cylinder engine
* 300 PS / 221 kW / 296 hp
* 400 N⋅m / 295 lbf⋅ft of torque
* 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in 5.9 seconds!
The R version was produced both with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, Brembo provided very high performance large breaks... You already understood that the Volvo V70 R was designed to be strong, powerful, and reliable.
