Volvo V70 R P80 1/18

We decided to release 4 new exclusive body colors for this fantastic Volvo V70 R first generation: saffron metallic, garnet red metallic, mystic silver metallic and black.

The perforated front grill with the typical diagonal bar including the Volvo logo is nicely replicated.
The headlight and fog lights are very minutious. Look at all the fine engraving and texture jobs applied on them. Even the small wipers were added in the process to be as precise as possible.
The honeycomb perforated cooler grill positioned on the lower part of the bumper is an hymn to accuracy.

Moving to the side of the 1/18 scale model Volvo V70 R, we didn’t forget the tiny “R” sign on one of the 5 spokes rims to bring more realism to this miniature car and to show the extra power of the car on this specific version.

On the roof, we also added the long black roof racks on each side of the tinted sunroof, and a spoiler as a reminder of the sportive attitude of the Volvo V70 R.
Finally, on the trunk, the inscriptions “Volvo” and “V70 R AWD” were cautiously applied to feel like standing in front of the real car.

The cockpit is embellished by a beautiful black interior with a nice touch of silver trims on the central console, the door handles, the glove box and around the gear lever platform.

The dashboard and central console are very detailed with plenty of realistic tiny buttons and gauges. We dedicated a special treatment to the seats with stunning textures and fine stitching rendering on the upholstery.
Plenty of separate parts were added instead of molding the cockpit into one block:

• the steering wheel
• the commodos
• the door handles
• the gear lever
• the hand brake
• the central mirror

The seat belts are made of real fabric and the buckles are photo etched parts.
